FAQS
-
Can I buy extra images? (family photography and headshots)Absolutely, extra high-resolution digital images are £20 each or you purchase the full gallery for £200.
-
Can we have the RAW or unedited files?I take huge pride in my work and will only give you beautifully edited, finished photographs that look their very best. For that reason, the RAW are not available for purchase or otherwise, simply because they are only “half-baked” and not the finished product the way I envision it to be. My editing process is as much a part of my artistic skill as the way I take the photograph.
-
Do you do black and white portraits?Yes, I love to offer you the best of both worlds. The images are created as coloured files, but they can be easily converted to beautiful black and white photographs. I really enjoy creating black and white photography it oozes style with a timeless feel.
-
Can you edit out my wrinkles?I like to capture natural, real emotions and connection in my family photography, but I am also aware that not everybody wants to see every pore on their face. I am happy to lightly retouch and soften some wrinkles, spots, bruises, blemishes if this is something you feel you need or want. I won’t edit the sizes of people to change body image.

What happens if it’s raining or cloudy? (family outdoor shoots)If it’s raining, I am more than happy to reschedule. Sessions on cloudy days will go ahead as planned, overcast days can create beautiful soft light which makes for gorgeous photographs.

-
What should my child wear? (family shoots)Your child should feel comfortable in anything they would like to wear. I would advise that neutral & pastel colours work better than patterns. Denims, blues, creams and pinks etc work well and flatter most skin tones. You’re more than welcome to bring a change of outfit on the day.
-
What happens if my child is ill?If your child is unwell, I am happy to reschedule, being a mum to three young children myself I totally get this.
-
What happens if my child won’t sit still for long?Don’t worry, being a mum myself I have a lot of patience. I will always make sure I come away with beautiful portraits of even the most rambunctious toddlers. There is always ample time in a session to get lovely images, so no need for parents to apologise for your children. I’m happy to do a quick running race with your child if I need to.

How long do you stay for on the wedding day?I normally cover from the morning bridal/ groom preparations through to just after the first dance. If you would like me to stay after this time, I am happy to discuss about tailoring your personal package for you. The evening party makes for awesome, fun atmospheric photos.

What Camera do you use?I choose to shoot with my full-frame mirrorless Canon R6 Camera, it’s a beautiful camera! Performs brilliantly in low-light environments and produces amazing colour images. I use prime and zoom lenses.

Do you use a camera flash? For as much of the wedding day as possible I do not use a flash, I like to remain discrete and not blind any guests nearby. My camera is great to use without the flash and this helps create a natural feel. There are parts of the day that may require me to use one like the first dance for example.
